In four days, the first round of direct payments 

worth up to $4,555 will arrive from Social Security

It will take four days for millions of retirees to receive 

the first wave of November's Social Security payments, 

which are worth up to $4,555 for those who retire at 70.

On Wednesday, 8 November, seniors born between 

the 1st and 10th of their birth month will receive 

their first retirement payments. One of two 

later waves of distribution this month, which take place on Nov.

15 and Nov. 23, will issue monthly checks to 

those born between the 11th and 31st of any month.
