Direct payment worth $914 arrives in 16 days from Social Security

Individual filers will receive up to $914 in Supplemental Security Income payments for November in 16 days.

Having sent out the last disbursement on Friday, Sept. 29, 

The next one will be sent out Wednesday, Nov. 1. October's payment was sent out in 

September due to a kink in the Social Security Administration's schedule. 

Due to the weekend on Oct. 1, there were no payments in October.

The monthly installments are only available to filers who are 65 or older and

Qualify for disability benefits if they are partially blind or have a physical or mental disability that severely limits their daily activities.
