Your birthday determines when you receive Social Security retirement benefits.

There will, however, always be three Wednesdays a month when payments will be received.

In the case of those with a birth date between the 1st and the 10th,

the payment will be deposited on the second Wednesday of every month.

Your deposit will be deposited on the third Wednesday 

Of every month if your birth date falls between the 11th and the 20th.

Finally, if your birth date falls between 21st and 31st, 

it will be deposited on the fourth Wednesday of every month.

Each month, SSI payments are made on the first of 

the month, unless a holiday affects the date.
