Opening Day was Thursday, March 28th, 2024, marking the start of the 2024 MLB regular season.

celebrating the 150th anniversary of the first professional baseball team in 1874.
New rule changes for 2024 included a pitch clock and larger bases aimed at
improving pace of play and increasing stolen base attempts.
