The deadline for filing the DreamCloud mattress class-action settlement has been extended to one day
There is only one day left to file a claim against DreamCloud in a lawsuit brought by the Federal Trade Commission.
After DreamCloud agreed to payments after a suit accusing it of falsely
Claiming the mattresses were "Made in the USA" but contained imported materials,
the FTC began accepting claims this summer. Monday is the deadline for filing a claim.
Initially, the FTC filed a false advertising lawsuit against DreamCloud in 2021.
The federal agency said DreamCloud mattresses contained "significant imported materials,
And many are wholly imported," which contradicts the company's branding of
"proudly made with 100% USA-made premium quality materials."
Consumers whose claims were contested were reimbursed by the company.
