According to the Social Security Administration, 

Beneficiaries who retire at the youngest age of 62 

can receive up to $2,572 per month, while those 

who retire at 70 can receive up to $4,555 per month. 

In addition, retirees who reach the full retirement age, 67, are entitled to 

receive up to $3,627 per month in retirement benefits.

A separate group of retirees received their payments on Sept. 7, 

including those who retired before 1997, those living outside the country, 

and those receiving both Supplemental Security Income and Social Security benefits.
