The Alaska fund will send a payment worth $1,300 next month as part of the stimulus program

Alaskans who qualify for the 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend will receive their payment shortly.

In 18 days, lawmakers will begin distributing the estimated $1,300 payment 

Approved earlier this year as part of the fiscal 2024 budget.

A Permanent Fund Dividend payment is determined by the state's mineral revenue, and 

it is sent to Alaska residents "to benefit current and future generations."

In order to qualify for the Permanent Fund Dividend,

the recipient must be a resident of Alaska who intends to remain there indefinitely 

When applying. The applicant must also not be a felon and not 

Claim residency in another state during the application period.
