The Montana Department of Revenue is offering a tax rebate of 

Up to $675 until Oct. 1 as part of the stimulus package.

Montana residents will have another 15 days to apply for a property tax rebate of up to $675.

It is possible to apply for the property tax rebate either through 

the state's online portal or by paper form by Oct. 1.

For Montana taxpayers to qualify for the rebate, they must own and 

live in a residence in the state for at least seven months. As another requirement for the rebate, 

the property taxes on the residence must have been billed and paid in tax year 2022.

A tax rebate can only be applied to one property per year, 

according to the state. Once the application is submitted through the online portal or after 

the paper application is submitted, the rebate will be processed within 30 days.
