The Ohio Department of Transportation offers rebates on e-bikes

Columbus, Ohio is investing $250,000 in rebates for e-bike purchases at local bicycle shops.

Residents with incomes up to $150,000 are eligible for the payments.

Residents have criticized the city's lack of bike safety despite 

the program's push toward greater sustainability.

In order for the program to be effective, 

we need to have a safe bicycle infrastructure across the city for 

People to ride," Trevin Flickinger told Planetizen.
