There will be a drop in Social Security payments for millions of recipients in the near future.

A monthly Social Security payment of $1,801 is sent out on the second, 

third, and fourth Wednesday of each month.

In accordance with their birthdays, recipients receive COLA checks.

June 14th is the date when checks will be mailed to those with birthdays before the 10th of the month.

The 21st of June will be paid to recipients born between the 11th and 20th of the month.

Benefits can be affected by the following changes: Death of the recipient

You must return any Social Security benefits received by 

the deceased during the month of death and any months afterward.

When a person dies in September, the benefits paid in October must be returned.
