New Mexico will receive a direct payment worth up to

$1,000 in four days as part of the stimulus check

Within four days, New Mexicans will receive tax rebates worth up to $1,000.

The program is open to all residents of the state

who filed their taxes for 2021. A $500 rebate will be given to single filers, and

a $1,000 rebate will be given to married couples filing jointly.

Those who have selected the direct deposit option will receive

their funds on June 20 via direct deposit. According to KOAT 7,

A statement from Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham

(D-NM) praised the rebates as a personal priority.

According to her, basic necessities continue to be expensive

across the country. New Mexico is in an excellent financial position today,

and I want New Mexico's families to share in that success.
