The SSI Eligibility 2023: What qualifies someone for SSI?

The program can provide a financial boost to certain Americans with low incomes

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a financial assistance program

administered by the US government for people with limited income and resources.

The program is intended for those 65 and older, as well as

those who are blind or disabled of any age, including children.

What is the monthly SSI payment?

In accordance with the Social Security administration,

the monthly SSI payment for one person is 914 dollars and for a couple it is 1,371 dollars.

It is possible, however, that eligible citizens will receive more money if

the state where they reside adds more dollars to the aforementioned figure.

Additionally, if they have an additional source of income,

they could receive less than they had anticipated.
