There will be more stimulus checks in seven states in 2023, according to the Census Bureau

As the Covid-19 pandemic raged in 2020, things looked bleak. 

As a result of the global shutdown, Americans were finding themselves in dire financial straits, 

which brought some light into all the darkness.

In the midst of the pandemic, many Americans received economic stimulus checks, 

but it looks like the federal government isn't planning on sending any more. 

Nevertheless, some states are planning to send stimulus checks to residents in 2023.

The following is a list of states considering more stimulus checks.

The Golden State

The California Franchise Tax Board can provide you with the necessary qualifications.

Those living in the Golden state may be familiar with California stimulus payments, once known as 

“Middle Class Tax Refunds,” which are available to citizens who filed their 2020

State tax by October 15, 2021, and lived full-time in California for at least six months in 2020.

It is likely that Californians will receive their payment in the first half of 2023 

as long as they cannot be claimed as 2020 tax dependents on someone else's return and 

have not exceeded the California adjusted gross income limit - $250,000 for singles
