Applicants need to submit their application within hours to receive

one-time payment from airline settlement of $2 million

It is getting closer and closer to the end of the window for consumers to

claim their spot in a one-time airline settlement.

In response to a class-action lawsuit, Delta Airlines agreed to pay eligible customers for flight cancellations,

But consumers only have a few hours left to submit their claims.

There was no evidence of wrongdoing in the settlement despite the company's consistent denials.

In the lawsuit, Delta was alleged to have violated its mandated refund policies during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Due to Delta's contracts of carriage, the company must refund customers when flights are canceled for non-weather-related reasons.

According to the lawsuit, some passengers were issued travel credits instead of cash if

their tickets were issued between March 1, 2020, and April 30, 2021.
