Social Security update – In 17 days, recipients of Supplemental Security Income will receive their monthly checks, valued at up to $943 for individual filers.
The Social Security Administration will issue SSI payments to eligible citizens on July 1. Beneficiaries must receive their benefits by the first of the month, as mandated by the Social Security Administration.
Due to the fact that recipients are required to receive their checks by the first of the month, when the first falls on a weekend or a holiday, the Social Security Administration issues SSI checks on the previous business day. In September and December, payments are scheduled to be made.
