claim $400 payments from $900m pot – exact steps to apply

TAXPAYERS in one state are expecting a tax refund in the coming days.

Virginia residents are due one-time payments 

worth $200 for single filers and $400 for joint filers.

Anyone in the state is eligible for the rebate,

Residents do not need to apply for the money, 

but they can check their eligibility at tax.virginia.gov.

The rebates will go out no later than November 30 for taxpayers

who filed before July, but the state expects

most to receive the money by early November.

The state set aside a $900 million pot to help residents manage inflation.
